ABOUT THE ACTIVITY
As part of the YOUTH UNITE Erasmus+ project, Un Monde Migrant (UMM) organised a testing and feedback session for the LU1 module, “Understanding and Deconstructing Racism and Stereotypes”, developed by UMM within the project curriculum.
The session brought together professionals working directly with young people, including teachers, youth workers, trainers and educators.
Participants were invited to discover the module, explore its educational approach and provide feedback on its content, methodology and practical applicability.
OBJECTIVES
The session aimed to:
• Present the LU1 module developed by UMM.
• Test the educational content and methodology.
• Collect feedback from professionals working with young people.
• Identify possible improvements before the finalisation of the curriculum.
• Discuss practical ways of addressing racism, stereotypes and discrimination in educational settings.
FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS
Very positive feedback was received.
Participants highlighted the pedagogical quality, relevance and practical applicability of the materials. The video testimonies of young people were particularly appreciated for encouraging reflection and broadening perspectives on racism, stereotypes and discrimination.
The session also created a constructive and collaborative atmosphere, allowing participants to exchange experiences and discuss how the materials could be used in their own professional contexts.
