A Youth Unite Multiplier Event organised by Un Monde Migrant (UMM) in partnership with Alter Echo Marly.

On 26 September 2026, Un Monde Migrant, together with Alter Echo Marly, organised a Youth Unite Multiplier Event as part of the Festival of Happy Fraternity in Marly-le-Roi, France.
Participatory Youth Unite Workshop
“Deconstructing prejudice: learning to see differently”
As part of the Festival of Happy Fraternity, Un Monde Migrant delivered a participatory Youth Unite workshop on stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination.
Using everyday situations, discussion, images, short videos and creative exercises, participants were invited to question their own representations and reflect on how prejudice is constructed.
The workshop encouraged dialogue, listening and individual expression through an approach based on experience and participation.
Presentation of Youth Unite Results
During the event, Un Monde Migrant presented the Youth Unite curriculum developed with the project partners, as well as selected activities and short videos.
Participants discovered the Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) approach, the project’s educational resources and their potential for use in local youth activities.
The discussion showed particular interest in tools that help create inclusive spaces and strengthen social cohesion, mutual respect and young people’s autonomy.
Artistic Programme of the Festival of Happy Fraternity
The Festival of Happy Fraternity connected the Youth Unite workshop with an artistic programme based on encounter, cultural diversity, improvisation and collective creation.
- Yohan Niaux, also known as Unisonge: electro-acoustic sound bath featuring didgeridoo and jaw harp.

- Albéric: didgeridoo and percussion DJ set.
- Souly, also known as No Plan No Computer: electronic music performance.

The Youth Unite workshop formed the festival’s participatory and civic dimension, while concerts, storytelling, performances and dance represented its artistic and intercultural dimension.
Participants’ Feedback
Participants particularly appreciated the warm and inspiring atmosphere created by the artists and their improvisations around the theme of fraternity.
They also valued discovering the Youth Unite curriculum, short videos and examples of inquiry-based learning activities.
The overall evaluation of the event was positive. Participants expressed interest in using Youth Unite resources in future activities with young people.
Fraternity in Practice
By linking the Youth Unite workshop to the Festival of Happy Fraternity, Un Monde Migrant and Alter Echo Marly created a Multiplier Event combining non-formal education, civic participation, artistic expression and intercultural dialogue.
The event helped disseminate Youth Unite results to a diverse local audience and encouraged practical action for inclusion, challenging prejudice and strengthening fraternity.
It shows that art, encounter and participation can become practical tools for understanding others and building a more inclusive society.
